CREATURETEETH

○ Digital Illustration, Concept work, Freelance For-Hire ○

My name is Teeth, and I'm a professional freelance illustrator with over 16 years of experience.

My work is split between two professional names: Taphonomy, where I focus on for-hire furry art, sketches, and looser concepts; and Creatureteeth, where I focus on larger illustrative work, dark fantasy and abstract themes, tattoo design, and merchandise of my work.

I am open to commission work of all kinds. Please contact me if you're interested!

THE COMMISSION PROCESS

1. Fill out the form. As you fill out the commission form, please describe your commission as clearly as you can, the level of detail you are interested in, and any information that is important to the project. Elements of the image, such as facial expressions and poses, will be improvised unless specifics are asked for. Requesting “artistic liberty” for these elements, where I improvise them myself based on the composition of the image and my own input, is also fine. You need to provide me with a visual reference (2D image or screenshots) of your character(s) in the form. Please make them as clear and true to color as possible with NO shading. I will not work with any genAI reference material in any way.

2. Await contact. I will usually respond to new forms within 3-5 business days. If you get no response, your form may be filled out incorrectly, or I filled all my slots and cannot take any others; you are welcome to try again at a later date. When I contact you I will give you a final quote and ask for your confirmation to send the PayPal invoice, at which point I’ll send it. If you want a payment plan, you need to tell me before I send the invoice.

3. Pay the invoice. Payment is expected within one week, or seven days, from the invoice date. If you need to discuss payment or need an extension, please let me know! I’m happy to work with you so long as you keep communicating with me. No payment after 7 days AND no contact will void your slot and project. I will not begin any work on a project until it is paid. If you paid via payment program, I will not begin work until the first payment is finalized.

4. Wait for the project to be done. The work queue is public, and I tend to work down the list from oldest to newest, but sometimes I will jump around depending on the size of the projects in my queue. At any time you can approach me with any questions or concerns you have about the wait or the queue. If you requested WIP check-ins, or if the project is somewhat large, I will be contacting you with screenshots to get your thoughts along the way, but if check-ins are not relevant, I will be contacting you when the piece is finished.

5. Enjoy the artwork! If I made any mistakes or forgot anything, please tell me so we can discuss. If you want further work done that you didn’t originally request (for example, I drew you an uncolored sketch and you have decided you want me to color it), please feel free to ask, though keep in mind it is likely to generate a labor fee.
